Our Story

We’re Trey and Lexie Kridler — a counselor and a coach who share a deep commitment to strengthening families and restoring intentional discipleship.

Generation After Generation began in 2019 when we partnered with our close friends Timothy and Yoli Ndaiga in Kijabe, Kenya. We were all stepping into parenthood and noticing the same challenges around us: families with little time together, increasing dependence on technology, rising trauma, and a growing disconnect between daily life and spiritual formation. Even before having children of our own, we felt a clear calling to help bridge that gap.

Trey brings the training of a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Lexie brings years of experience guiding students and families through life decisions and transitions. With over 15 years in various ministry roles, we’ve seen firsthand how much people long for connection, clarity, and support — not only in the U.S. but around the world.

When someone meets with us, our goal is simple: to offer a space that feels safe, warm, and open. A place where people can slow down, be honest, hear from the Holy Spirit, and feel deeply encouraged by the love of God. Over time, we hope each person walks away stronger, more connected, and more equipped to live with purpose — for themselves, their families, and the generations that will follow.

Lexie Kridler
Coach

Lexie has over 15 years of ministry experience across youth, women’s ministry, worship, administration, and apartment outreach. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and is currently completing her parent coach certification through Connected Families (expected October 2026).

Lexie feels called to support mothers, parents, families, women, young adults, and couples. She offers a biblically rooted approach, combining spiritual wisdom with practical advice and simple, workable steps to help clients develop healthy rhythms and habits. Her areas of focus include parenting struggles, spiritual growth, mission and vision development, and navigating major life transitions such as adulthood, school changes, or moving.

Outside of her work, Lexie enjoys reading Christian historical fiction, painting, playing with her children, camping with her family, rainy days, and candlelight date nights with her husband. She brings warmth, clarity, and faith-filled encouragement to every person she walks alongside.

Trey Kridler
LMFT-A

Trey is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate with a Master of Education in Counseling and a background in Exercise and Sports Science. He is passionate about helping people grow in their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

Trey works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and desires for each person to discover their purpose in God’s will. He uses evidence-based approaches, including CBT and DBT, tailoring therapy to each client’s needs. He supports individuals facing anxiety, depression, church hurt, trauma, relationship struggles, communication issues, addiction concerns, and more.

With five years of experience as a youth pastor and a background in addiction treatment, Trey brings both clinical skill and faith-informed care to those who want it.

Outside of work, Trey enjoys spending time with his family—watching movies and playing games with his kids. He is currently accepting new clients in-person and virtually.
